I teach yoga for stress and trauma release.
I especially help women overcome the trauma of everyday life: death of loved ones, divorce, job loss, deep childhood trauma wounds… These are changes that we all go through but rarely have support.
Ongoing stress and unresolved traumas show up in the body. Yoga helps you release it.
When I began my yoga journey many years ago, I was fascinated to learn the physiology of trapped emotions. Low back pain, tightness in your hips or hamstrings, headaches, anxiety… these can all be physical manifestations of your thoughts and emotions. Identifying that negative experiences can show up in our bodies as pain, stiffness, and inflexibility can be empowering.
Acknowledging the relationship between the body and mind means you can take steps to heal.
Healing release through yoga is easier than you may think.
No crows, headstands, or one-legged pigeons required. Unless that’s your thing, of course!
In my personally crafted Freedom & Flexibility Yoga sequences, we’ll work to open up your mind and body with long-held, mindful stretches and breathwork.
We’ll then re-establish your basic range of motion using the Science of StretchingTM and unblock tension, tightness, and traumas to bring you peace.

My Journey to Yoga
While there are many, many tools in my healing toolbox, none have matched the magic and groundedness that comes with time spent on my yoga mat.
As a certified yoga instructor, I have completed more than 500 hours of intensive training on the art of mindful stretching and powerful, healing breath.
My love affair with yoga started in a hot and heated Bikram Yoga studio. Since then it has set off like wildfire—from yoga sculpt and vinyasa flow, to Hatha yoga, restorative mobility and flexibility practices, and more.
I can’t wait to share all that I’ve learned with you.
